Job Description:

The Manager of Health Information Technology collaborates with the Director, Health Information Management to direct, manage and supervise assigned departmental functions, ensuring completeness, accuracy and integrity of the electronic health record information. This includes, but is not limited to, planning and directing the collection, compilation and distribution of data, recruiting, training and educating staff, monitoring staff performance against established productivity standards and providing input into departmental operating budgets

Required Qualifications:

• Three years in Health Information Management or Health Information Technology
• Bachelor Degree
• One of: RHIA or RHIT

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Medical Transcriptionist
