Internship Recruitment Opportunity

Need an extra hand on your team? Sign up for a free event to recruit potential future interns!

The Clinical Leadership & Management program in the College of Health Sciences at the University of Kentucky is hosting its 1st “Summer Internship Matching/Speed Dating Event” on January 27 from 4-6 PM on the UK campus. The Clinical Leadership & Management program students take course work in social determinants of health, ethics, leadership, information management, finance, communication, quality and safety, and more. The complete curriculum can be found here.

Students often ask “what can I do to learn and grow during the summer?” and in an attempt to both help provide enrichment activities for students and help YOU create a workforce pipeline and get some extra hands for summer projects, the University of Kentucky College of Health Sciences Clinical Leadership & Management program is excited to offer this internship matching/speed dating event. At the event, each student will rotate around and talk with each employer in a quick meet and greet. The exact amount of time will depend on the number of employees and students at the event. The students will be coached in advance to bring resumes, etc. and you can invite students who you think may be a good fit for your organization to reach out to you for further conversation about a summer internship.

To register, please click here. You will be invited to create a Handshake account and register and once that has occurred, you will receive more information from the Clinical Leadership & Management program. Employers from around the region are welcomed as the program’s students are from areas around Lexington, Louisville, Cincinnati, and beyond. They are often also willing to travel during the summer.
