HIM/IT Project Manager

The HIM/IT Project Manager is responsible for leading the initiation, planning, execution and closure phases of the project life cycle for healthcare HIM/IT projects involving multiple technologies, multiple systems, business unit functions and stakeholders. This position will be responsible for working closely with the application specialists and managers from each of the vendors as well as the BHS IT support team. Projects range in size from medium to large complex efforts in support of strategic business goals and objectives for Baptist Health Systems. Applies project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project and program activities in order to meet HIM/IT related delivery requirements against a baseline of cost, schedule, and scope. Bachelor’s Degree in a Health related field, 8 years experience in an acute care facility HIM department in lieu of a degree

• EPIC Overview (to include validation and re-engineering sessions)

• Hyland OnBase Overview

• 3M Experience

• HIM Operations Experience

Certifications/licenses: (One or more of the following, preferred) • RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator) • RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician)
